cpqarrayd software package provides monitoring tool for HP (Compaq) SmartArray controllers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cpqarrayd
cpqarrayd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cpqarrayd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cpqarrayd *
You will get with cpqarrayd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
